When we first began our design firm, The Sulky Bros. Manufactorium, we wanted to marry two of our loves: film and off-roading. We felt that much of the Jeep advertising at that point was pretty unimaginative and figured we could add to the discussion. We wrote a narrative, drew storyboards, designed a set, modeled a Jeep in 3D, and created an animatic to solidify our vision of the world’s sweetest Jeep ad.
With all of the other demands for our attention, we were unable to finish this to the level we envisioned. Perhaps one day. . . .
